Jackson Geothermal HVAC & Drilling

Ground source heat pump systems are among the most energy-efficient and environmentally-friendly heating, cooling, and water heating systems available, according to the US Department of Energy (DOE) and the Environmental Protection Agency (EPA). The EPA reported in 1993 that geothermal technologies present a major opportunity for reducing national energy use and pollution, while delivering comfort, reliability and savings to homeowners.

  • Lower heating and cooling costs
A geothermal system can cut utility bills by 30 to 60 percent compared to conventional heating and cooling systems.

  • Low maintenance
All equipment is protected indoors or underground. A geothermal system can have a life expectancy of up to 30 years; ground loops are often warranted for up to 50 years.

  • Safe and natural
Ground-source heat is naturally renewable and non-polluting. Geothermal energy is completely safe and natural.

  • No chimney or flue, no combustion
With geothermal energy, no chimney or flue is needed. Because there are no combustibles, there is no danger of gas leaks or carbon monoxide poisoning. Since there is no combustion, your home retains its normal humidity and the air does not become dry in the winter.

  • Recoup your investment in as few as five years
The higher the price for oil, gas and electricity, the sooner you recoup your investment in a geothermal system.

  • Equipment is Energy Star rated
Our geothermal system equipment meets the strict energy efficiency guidelines set by the EPA and the DOE. Ths program helps us all save money and protect the environment through energy efficient products and practices.

  • Pennsylvania matching grant for small business
The Small Business Energy Efficiency Grants in Pennsylvania Program provides a 25 percent matching grant, up to $25,000, for equipment or processes that significantly improve energy efficiency, including geothermal systems.

Eligible applicants must be independent, for-profit businesses with 100 employees or fewer and be located in Pennsylvania. Additionally, the project must reduce energy-related expenses by at least 20 percent, with a minimum savings of $1,000 per year in energy costs.

Applications may be submitted through May 1. Grants will be awarded to eligible applicants on a first-come, first-served basis until the program's $3 million in available funds is depleted.

  • Pennsylvania Pollution Prevention Assistance Account (PPAA) Loan Program
Under this program, small businesses undertaking projects within the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania that reduce waste, pollution or energy use, are eligible for low interest loans. This funding can help small businesses comply with environmental regulations while receiving the economic benefits of preventing pollution and using energy more efficiently.

Loans will be used to fund 75 percent of the total eligible project cost, up to a maximum of $100,000. The loan interest rate is 2% and has a maximum term of 10 years. Small businesses with 100 or fewer full-time employees are eligible. (click here for details)
